Will you shine in darkness?

So I was studying Matthew 5:14-16 which says:

Matthew 5:14-16

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

So I know we all heard this before, but sometimes we need a reminder, and even then we may not see all revelation of that verse, there’s so much to learn in just one verse!

So this is what the Lord shared with me, and I pray it blesses you as it has me:

we are light of the world. A city (a people, Gods children) which cannot be hid!

No no one lights a candle just to put it under a bed. Hiding a candle under your bed and actually be dangerous and affect you negatively, it’s best to let it shine! The light of a candle is purposed to bring light to the house or room for all in the house or room to see!

We must let our our light shine before men, it is written that they may see our good works, and glorify our father which is in heaven!

We our light ambassador, and an ambassador bring light to others about where their from, or they come to another land representing where their from, their home land.

Hiding you light is like being ashamed to know God. Shining your light is to broadcast your belief, glorifying God.

Luke 9:26

26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

We shine our light by how we behave, and not just by what we speak. How we respond to others, our joy, our happiness though we maybe in trails, our response to anger, our peace in the storm, our humility next to the pride of others, our smile to the frowns that surround us, our joy when others would be mourning in our position, our love towards hate, and most of all

Our love in the midst of a world with sin.

You may be sick if seeking for Love, tired of never finding it. But have you evee thought just maybe God sent you to become what your looking for. Just maybe your here in this earth to become Love and shine that Love, which the light of Christ to others!

If God said my daughter can you go out and show them what love is ?

Are you willing to be what your looking for ? Regardless of gaining anything from others? Will you sacrifice yourself for God?

The only way this will happen, you must die to the desire to receive anything from others. You must believe in your heart that God is your reward, and God is enough to fulfill your every desire!

Would you say yes? Though they show nothing but hate towards you, though They slay you with their words! Will you say yes father I’ll go?

Be satisfied with God as your reward and pleasing him. Then shall we be able to spread the beauty of His Love 💕
