Help my unbelief

So times are hard, and your having a hard time! Your wondering can this really be God?

Well im here to tell you sis, that I’ve been in this season so many times, and felt so confused and discouraged. Unsure what the results of my current situation would be, I fell into worry and fear.

So just the the other day the Lord spoke to me in thoughts and revealed to me the need to believe what he has told me to be true about who I am, and what I’m called to do.

So God asked me, in the midst stress in my thoughts over a situation: “Is it sin to not believe what I’ve told you?”

Yes! It is sin! I was then reminded how Israel fell in the wilderness because of unbelief, it is written:

Hebrews 3:8-12 &16-18

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Romans 11:20-23

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Romans 11:30-32

30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Matthew 13:58

58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

So here a few of many things written about unbelief in what God has said. And in this moment I realized I’ve been walking in sin by not believing what God told me. God said he will heal many through me, that I am a wife called to be my husbands and I am sent here by God for such a time as this! And in this season I’ve caught up with my eyes and what I see, I have failed to believe what God told me rather then what people, the devil, and my own words have told me!

What have you been believing lately? Have you ever thought just maybe God is making your season look impossible to see if you will believe his word for you regardless? Will you believe Gods word over your own? Will you believe the truth over a lie? Will you fall the way Israel did in the wilderness?

Sis I encourage you to believe the word God told you bout your marriage, he said that’s your husband, don’t use your eyes use your faith! He said that is your purpose don’t let those thoughts tell you that you can’t! He said that you are chosen and worthy, don’t believe the lie you speak in your heart that your not enough! USE YOUR FAITH YOU ARE ENOUGH!
